Lakewood Emergency Room is a free standing, full service ER. Since we're not connected to a Hospital, you can enjoy a great emergency room experience without the wait time and hassle of a traditional Hospital ER. Our Dallas ER can perform most of the procedures a traditional ER can. We work with most private insurances, and have an on-site laboratory and pharmacy to get you in and out as fast as possible.
At Lakewood Emergency Room, you will always be treated like family, and not a number. Our team of Board-Certified ER Physicians will give you the one on one care you deserve. And in most cases, you'll be in and out in about an hour, so you can get on with your day.
This facility is a freestanding emergency medical care facility. The facility charges rates comparable to a hospital emergency room and may charge a facility fee. A facility or a physician providing medical care at the facility may be an out-of-network provider for the patient ’s health benefit plan provider network. A physician providing medical care at the facility may bill separately from the facility for the medical care provided to a patient. The facility is an out-of-network provider for all health benefit plans.
Unlike a traditional Hospital ER, our facilities don't have long waits to be seen by a Doctor.
We work with all major private insurance plans. We also have self-pay available.
At our ERs, there is always a Board Certified ER Physician on Staff to take care of you.
Lakewood Emergency Room understands the additional needs that come with children's care. Our dedicated oversized pediatric rooms have additional seating for family and siblings. We take special effort to involve the parents in their child's care. And carry multiple topical anesthetics to help ease the pain of laceration repairs or IV needle sticks. We also keep an extensive pharmacy stocked with pediatric medications just in case your child needs it. We offer procedural sedation for children to make painful procedures much more tolerable for little patients and their parents. Situations where procedural sedation can be used in children include laceration repair, abscess drainage, spinal taps, and setting broken bones. All these procedures are routine for the highly trained medical staff at Lakewood Emergency Room.
All of our doctors at Lakewood Emergency Room are Board Certified in Emergency Medicine by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. As such, our Physicians undergo extensive training in evaluating and treating children with both urgent and emergent conditions. They all have experience working in pediatric emergency departments and trauma centers.
Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept Government Insurances, such as Medicare, Medicaid, and Tri-Care.

“The doctors and nurses here are so kind and prompt! I was becoming dangerously sick with the flu and they nursed me back to health quickly and respected everything I had to say! The front desk staff is time efficient, polite and helpful.”
